Pallisa Rural Health Unit Summary A deep rural project commissioned by Pallisa Community Development Trust (PACODET) to provide a secure & renewable power (solar) infrastructure for the 4 linked Health Units. This project benefited greatly from our holistic approach to power solution design, with recent advances in solid-state lighting and power technology we were able to design a system with such a low service load that we could scale-down the power solution to a minimal service load and provide 24/7 power to all devices without the need to compromise. Environmentally friendly, this is done by changing the way users understand power and how to use it, while also using power efficient robust devices, this solution has far less impact on the local environment than traditional ones.
