Uganda Embassy upgrade
The most recent portion of this project involved construction of a 300-person, 235,000 square foot addition to the main embassy building in Kampala, Uganda, known as USAID/MSGQ; which houses both the USAID and Embassy professionals. The cabling installation covered two stories and two buildings involved 282 cable outlets each containing 3 x Category 6 copper cables and 2 x Fiber for a total of 1,410 cables, excluding the backbone. Instead of specifying one Category rating for voice applications and a separate rating for data applications, US Embassy converged on Category 6 for all applications
